Most visitors to the Texas State Capitol in Austin congregate on the south side of the building since it’s closer to downtown and is also the side that receives the most sun during the later part of the day. The north side, however, offers a great view of the building especially early in the morning during the summer. Using an ultra-wide-angle lens, you can capture the whole of the main building and also the underground rotunda of the new extension as seen here in the foreground.
