Texas State Capitol

Most visitors to the Texas State Capitol in Austin congregate on the south side of the building since it’s closer to downtown and is also the side that receives the most sun during the later part of the day. The north side, however, offers a great view of the building especially early in the morning during the summer. Using an ultra-wide-angle lens, you can capture the whole of the main building and also the underground rotunda of the new extension as seen here in the foreground. Prints of this image are available with heights between 30″ and 60″. Available Sizes 40″...

Waiting on Congress Avenue Bridge

This shot, one of my favorites, was actually the result of a failed attempt to capture a photo of the bats leaving Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin during the summer of 2009. For some reason, the bats left about 20 minutes earlier than usual that night so, by the time I arrived and set up my camera, the ribbon of a million or so bats was nowhere to be seen. Bryce Canyon at Sunrise

Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah is magical with amazing colors and forms in the pillar-like hoodoos within the canyon. This shot was taken on a very cold, winter morning just after sunrise. Thank goodness for hand warmers! Unfortunately, we can only ship gallery-wrapped prints up to 72″ wide but, if you would like a larger version than this and can get to Austin to pick it up, let us know!. We can ship unstretched canvases larger than 72″ so, if this is of interest, drop us a line. Prints of this image are available with widths of up to 72″. Available Sizes 72″ x...

Twenty Mule Team Canyon, Death Valley

Death Valley National Park in California is a breathtaking place and the view from one of the higher hills in Twenty Mule Team Canyon just as the sun is beginning to go down is one of the most breathtaking in the part for me. The textures in the undulating landscape and the starkness of the scene are fascinating. Unfortunately, we can only ship gallery-wrapped prints up to 72″ wide but, if you would like a larger version than this and can get to Austin to pick it up, or if you would prefer a large, unstretched print, let us know! Prints of this image are available with widths of up to...

West Texas Panorama

This hillside can be found just outside Fort Davis in west Texas. I shot this panorama on a summer morning with one of the best skies I had seen in quite some time. A storm was rolling through in the distance adding some drama to the scene. Prints of this image are available with widths of up to 70″. Available Sizes 70″ x 14″ $495.00 USD60″ x...
