This is another image from my ongoing project to document the Saturn V rocket. This is the only image in my collection so far that was not taken at Johnson Space Center in Houston, however. This was shot at the New Mexico Space History Museum in Alamogordo where they have an F-1 engine (but not the rest of the rocket). Most visitors to the Texas State Capitol in Austin congregate on the south side of the building since it’s closer to downtown and is also the side that receives the most sun during the later part of the day. The north side, however, offers a great view of the building especially early in the morning during the summer.
